STEAM2017 Exhibition
Exhibition Graphics
Client: UWF Center for Fine & Performing Arts
The STEAM2017 Exhibition from University of West Florida's Art Department featured several artists both nationally and internationally. The work is a collaboration between scientists, mathematicians, and others within the STEM community but with the addition of artists to further interdisciplinary work. The theme for 2017's show was based around the environment, ecology, and water.
Work on the exhibition lasted approximately four months and included the following postcards, posters, titlewall graphics, and also web banners, leaflets, and brochures. The typeface is a subtly modified Eurostile at 80% black and the graphics are based upon generative art which was an aspect originally explored but dropped due to time constraints. Other team members for this project included the ringleaders; Associate Professor of Art Thomas Asmuth and Gallery Director Nicholas Croghan, as well as fellow TAG intern Morgan Walker.
